2. Data processed, purposes and legal basis
Browsing data. As with any website, the servers hosting the site record some technical data about visits (such as IP address, date and time, requested page, browser type). These data are used only to keep the site running and secure, and are kept for the limited period set by the hosting provider.
Contact form. Through the form on the “Contact us” page we collect only the data voluntarily provided by the user, namely the email address and any other information included in the message.
- Purpose: the data are used solely to reply to requests for information, bookings or contacts sent by the user.
- Legal basis: processing is necessary to follow up on the user’s request, including with a view to a possible booking (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). The checkbox in the form confirms that the user has read this notice.
3. Processing methods and retention
The data collected will never be transferred, disclosed or sold to third parties. Processing is carried out with IT and electronic tools strictly related to the purposes stated and in a way that ensures the security and confidentiality of the data. The data may be processed on behalf of the controller, and only for the stated purposes, by the providers of the website hosting and email services, acting as data processors.
The data will be kept only for as long as needed to handle the request and for any subsequent administrative handling of the contact.
4. Your rights
At any time, users may ask the controller for access to their personal data, rectification, erasure (right to be forgotten), restriction of processing, data portability, and may object to processing (Arts. 15–22 GDPR). To exercise these rights, simply send a written request to info@domantiglia.it.
Users also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali, www.garanteprivacy.it).
5. Cookie policy
This website is designed to respect users’ privacy as much as possible. We do not use any profiling or analytics tracking cookies, nor any third-party cookies. Even the typefaces are hosted directly on our own server.
We use only the following technical cookie, which is strictly necessary for the site to work properly:
- Cookie name: wp-wpml_current_language
- Purpose: to remember the browsing language chosen by the user so that the interface is displayed correctly.
- Type: first-party technical cookie.
As a technical cookie, it is exempt by law from the requirement of prior consent; it is set automatically to allow normal use and browsing of the site.
6. Links to external websites
The map on the “Where we are” page is a static image: Google Maps opens only when you click it. Likewise, the links to Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp lead to third-party websites, which process data according to their own privacy policies. None of these services is loaded on our site without an action by the user.
