As the evenings grow longer, the courtyard of the Butega opens to the public. These are evenings designed for spending time together at a leisurely pace: readings aloud, book presentations, and meetings with authors and anyone who has a story to share.
There is no stage or audience: we sit close together under the arbor and let the story find its own rhythm. Often, a drink and something to eat are part of the evening, because here, culture and food go hand in hand.
